You folks don't like the message, that there is a very real and quite immediate danger arising from small impactors, so you generally heap as much sh*t as you can on me and others who are familiar with the problem.
Forget the evidence, if you just pretend you can make it all go away.
The flight team for Columbia did that, and you can see where it got them.
Place your head as far up your b*tt as far as you can, and all you can smell is your own sh*t.
