I see. State that you are correct but fail to support yourself or defend your arguments against criticism. This must be one of those 'World Expert' strategies for arriving at the thruth of the matter. This would get you run out of graduate school, much less Science!

At the next conference you attend (since you are an expert in the field and so very busy I expect you attend quite a few!), make sure to field questions and criticisms in this exact same way. I think you will go far. I can see it now.....
