This is why I get pissed at Nasa.

They'll start a project, then cancel it. After a few years they'll start a similar project, but do they start from where they left off? Hell no, they start all over from scratch, forgeting what they learned before, and end up spending alot of money. Only to scrap the project again after a little while. The HL-20 is a perfect example. Why in God's name did they even start the X-38 program when they had this little jewel sitting in their vault all along? Not only is it a far better craft than the flimsy X-38, but the design is, for the most part, finalized. I guess they figured they couldn't waste billions of dollars if they built something that they already had the plans for.

This is exactly the same type of vehicle I've been saying Nasa should develop for the longest time now, and I didn't even know about this project!
