As a former movie fanatic who saw everything, nicknamed "Siskel" by friends, I'm personally surprised at how little interest I've had in new flicks the last 3 or 4 years. I was already a geezeroid so it's not that. Just completely lost interest in Hollywood product. Admitedly, for the last year I've owned a Sony widescreen HDTV with DVD and TiVo 2, but still.
I do like film noir stuff and trashy Jet Li flicks on DVD, but not 1st run. If I do go out to the flicks (saw LOTR TTT) I go for stadium seating.
