I also have an HDTV and DVD with surround sound. My wife and I watch a lot of movies (3 last weekend) but have not gone to a theater in almost 2 years. Tell me, what theater can compete with our setup? We have a wet bar and bathroom within feet of our system, leather sectional recliners, and our popcorn doesn't cost $3, either.

I buy almost all of my DVDs used for $10 or less at Blockbuster. My collection is approaching 180 titles, including quite a few multi-disk sets like "The Godfather Collection", "Band of Brothers", and "From the Earth to the Moon." Let it snow, there's always something good to watch downstairs. If all else fails, there's always DirectTV.
