Maybe the people who live in space will eventually become bored with their situation, and dream even bigger dreams than we can imagine...
- What would someone who already lives and works in space dream about?
- How grand would the vision be?
- How novel?
- How strange and unexpected?
- How would they imagine accomplishing their goals?
All these questions need answers. I propose we get started on the first Skyhook now, and when I'm old and senile, young upstarts will be doing stuff I can't do now, and dreaming stuff beyond anyone's conception of what is possible.
