I think the article is very telling for ALL of us, because psy-ops is at work overtime lately.
How many newspapers print things we all take for granted when they've been served it on a platter by some political newsroom task force?

BTW, it's nice to see two people who really KNOW each other posting.
Publius and I have known each other for over 20 years.
And I see "son of Dan" popped in.
But just because we know each other, doesn't mean we both agree on all the issues.

I pretty much stay off the space board because space is f**ked.
We have militarized space.
There will be no public access to space in our life times, so forget that "The Dream is Alive".
Between the communications and SPY satellites and soon Rummy's "missile defense", it will be like the New Jersey Turnpike at rush hour up there.

Oh, and by the time Bush is finished with the budget, his tax cuts and all the money needed for the war "effort" and the rebuilding of Iraq, there will be precious left for the space program.
I mean there are cuts on all state run programs, from education, healthcare, the elderly, why, our offspring might end up going to Iraq just to get BETTER education, healthcare, etc...
