Laser weapons ever practical?
Wait a second. Think of this scenario:
I am a private in the middle of a war-zone, creeping along a city street. I see someone with a rifle pointed at me not 10 feet away, jumping out of a door. I take a snap shot, scatter off some shiny button or eupalate... I kill him and me and my squad goes blind...
Or maybe goggles become standard issue for all sides- okay, then think of the civilian casualties.
