Sam? - Please read :)

Hello, Sam!

*IMPORTANT* the following is offered with all respect to you - Sans intent of condescension, paternalism nor undue pragmatism...

Sam I feel it may behoove you to explore your 'fascination' with catastrophism!? - Should said penchant be issue of latent (or manifest) agoraphobic[/oid] 'tendencies' it surely cannot make for a comfortable life! :(

Despite your SELF proclaimed 'ignorance' of astronomy, I cannot help but remark upon the fact that, to a man of your intelligence, the dubiety of the post (at the provided URL) should be a matter beyond question!!! Clearly the author is either a fringe 'religious' zealot, a fraud, or both - note that the poster is, rather brazenly, promoting literature of his/her composition - already a material motive presents itself --- Forgive the liberty, however I suggest you please examine your requirement of extrinsic 'confirmation' of that which it would seem is already clear to you...)

But to move along...
Indeed the 'world' (by which, in this context, I mean *ALL MANIFESTATIONS AND ALL LOCATIONS* - 'concrete' and abstract) might be regarded as a 'suite' of catastrophes - But then, in view the *ENORMOUS* spans of time & space over which said events are distributed, said 'regard' is hopelessly 'jaded' at best...

If we humans, as individuals, are to find comfort - *YES* even enjoyment - in the figurative 'blink of an eye' allotted each of us - we *must* learn _and_ determine to cull the 'extraneous' from the 'central' --- Am I making any sense?

The world is a fascinating 'place'! --- Please try to view it as such - sans the gloom and doom!!! :)

Again - I hope this post is taken in the spirit intended - despite its admittedly, but ineluctable, overbearing 'elder Bro' tone ;) :)

With utmost sincerity
Dan Sarandon

PS - Having just finished proof reading this, I suspect it may behoove *me* to explore *my* penchant for adjectives ;)
