Jacob I do know something about the movie business and it seems you are well on your way to telling the story yourself. Get a book on scriptwriting at the library, write a up a "treatment" and figure out the format of scriptwriting. I know, who has time? I don't, but it is a great story and I think the public needs another Apollo 13 type movie.

Unfortunately the process of getting it noticed by movie execs can be hard and/or expensive (if you need an agent). And then some executive decides the end of the story needs to be "punched up" and suddenly the cosmonauts will be rescued from the wolves by a beautiful peasant girl who lives in the woods.
