Eating is good. Even though I'm only 26, I often know what you mean about feeling too old for this... my real focus, space-wise, is on the design of second-generation terrestrial habitats -- not habitats for the explorers, but for the actually settlers who decide to put down roots on Luna and Mars. Even on an optimistic schedule like this, I can't imagine that real settlement would commence until the 2040's or so. And if my optimism is off by much, then I'll probably only get to lay some theoretical groundwork on settlement design, and never actually get to see it bear fruit (or pay the bills).
