Enterprise/Colombia
I watched Enterprise last night. Their focal point of that story was that we need to take risk to get anywhere in space. I don’t know if they had the Colombia in mind when they filmed this episode, but it fit right in.
Space exploration is risky. Going to work in the morning is risky. Living is risky. That should never stop us from moving forward.
As far as the shuttles go, I say start launching them again. Make all future missions dock at the ISS, where the shuttle’s tiles can be inspected.
