A second dose of Habanero bungflush for Barry's BS build up.
By the way, it's ~5atm or ~75(~5x14.7)psi.
-My 1997 book described that the Vikings on Mars found
pressures above the triple point of water.
-Temps and pressures on Mars are in excess of liquid CO2.
*Supports blue Mars right? Clear enough for you?*
Or are you just in the mood to criticise without basis again?
Now I'm in the mood to be critical.
Barry, you simple minded, horribly biased, second rate pop-sci relay.
I've always taken Blue Mars to mean a global liquid surface water regime existing on Mars roughly where Tim Parker has reported shorelines. Nothing you've ever posted is proof of this one way or the other. Unless you post pictures from the Mars Temporal Orbiter of Marvin out on the sailboat, I for one am going to be extremely sceptical of anything you consider and offer as proof.
I'm sorry you feel that you have to defend Blue Mars to the death but not as sorry as I am that I feel compeled to read and comment on the picture of Mars you've enshrined in your book and your consistently self
congratulatory snippets.
I'm sure you could lecture me up and down the street about the philosophy of science, but at the end of the day, you just don't get it.
From what I've read of you posting here, you seem incapable of understanding ambiguity in scientific pursuit. That it's possible to investigate a specific solution to a scientific problem without being utterly certain about the correctness of the result. Without feeling the need to be utterly correct and attempt personal validation with every fetid gasp. I don't see where you've even allow the possibility that you're not utterly correct enter your mind, ever.
