First of all, Clinton was not impeached on perjury but on lying under oath, a lesser offense.
Second, Gingrich was not run out of office because he was cheating on his wife. It was only discovered AFTER he resigned that he had been cheating on his wife the entire time he hypocritcally condemned Clinton for the same. Gingrich was run out of office by fellow republicans after they lost seats in the '98 election due to public disgust with the Ken Starr inquisition. Livingston resigned because he was "outed" about his sexual adventures which made Clinton look celebate in comparison. Livingston then stated that if he was big enough to resign so should Clinton. This proved what the inquisitors tried to deny all through that long national nightmare: That it really WAS all about sex.
Third, NOW certainly needs to take a long look at their double standards. What happens between consensual adults should not be their concern anymore than it is the concern of Ken Starr and his sex police.
Lastly, apology acknowledged and accepted on the harsh comment. It was still a preposterous analogy though.
