He should declare tomorrow a nation day of mourning, with all schools and businesses closed.

He should declare that the organization found responsible for these outrageous and barbaric acts will be identified, hunted down, and destroyed.

He should further declare that any national government found to have assisted the terrorist organization will be in a state of war with the US, have Congress declare war, and forcibly overthrow that government. If that means launching a major invasion of Iraq or Afganistan, so be it.

A terrorist organization just murdered perhaps 10,000 - 20,000 Americans, and a very, very heavy price must now be paid.
