The EU has announced a day of mourning for friday.
The tragedy is very deeply felt here in Europe and we are all with you in thoughts.
The Crédit Agricole (France) had offices on the 92nd floor of the first hit WTC Tower (above were the crash occured) and they have no news of the 90 employees who were there.
Since it was first learned, it's been constantly on the news, and in every channel of every country we can get.
I heard Belgium and France have sent planes with doctors, specialists in Earthquake and in deep burns.
Way back in 1994, before boarding the Brussels-Chicago American Airlines flight (on the way to the Grand-Canyon), I had been asked to go to a special room where they body searched me. They told me they systematically did it to 2 passengers (taken by chance) per international flight. It took about 20 minutes and they even completely opened my videocamera. This is something we get used to and accept, just like cameras everywhere.
Bon courage,
Raoul
