Up to NYC
Hi, Tom.
Though this tragedy has touched people all over the world, and the grief and outrage is shared by every American, The City bears the wound. Its people were the witnesses and victims, first on the scene and last to leave. We all saw and heard, but the smells, textures and tastes belong to New York. The City's citizens will walk past that site every day long after it fades from the TV screens and newspapers. They need to decide, and they need our support whatever they decide.
New York is a vital, majestic, tough and resilient city. Whatever choice they make will be the right one.
Regards--
Mary Anne
