Re: Falwell makes conservatism look really good (again)

Hi Tom,

They're covering for religion in general...because this attack and others like it shows:

A. The fallibility of their god to protect 'Christians' from the 'Muslim God' who must be a tougher bad ass.

or...

B. The uncaring nature of the Christian God..

or

C. That the Christian god is asleep on the switch....

or....worst of all....

D. Christianity is bogus. Gods are bogus.

This last one is a real kicker...because the $$$ drop off fast when they realize they aren't saving them from a cruel death or a hellish afterlife.

The Falwells of the world need to point the finger to some folks so that they can justifys God's apparent cruelty or injustice.

However you hit the nail on the head....were all of those killed in the WTC, ACLU members...gays, lesbians or other offenders to God?

No way.

Jeez...if they were so offensive San Francisco and Silicon Valley would be the first to go....

It reminds me of scientists who grasp at straws to sustain an erroneous theory that is failing fast. Applying science to religion is incongruent - but unfortunately if one follows these folks - the priests and preachers They are the wolfs in sheeps clothing who foster the same ignorant hate we see fostered among Muslims against the US.

If there were a Hell (and there are equivalent spectras to equal it) Falwell and his ilk will be descend straight to it!

Sad and divisive rhetoric is unamerican and serves a lower agenda,

Saddened,

Apologies to all the 'Good' Christians who frown on Falwells behavior and use religion as a moral code of ethics....and take offense at my post....
