We know that terror groups such as the one organized by Osama Bin Laden could very well be responsible for Tuesdays attack, and indeed he is the prime suspect. But how did he recruit so many people for a suicide mission? Maybe he did.

But.... consider that this is the year 2001, and that this may have religious significance for Religious Suicide Cults. I grew up in a religious household and am aware of how important the new millennium was for many religious leaders who believed it to be around the time of the "second coming", and the "tribulation" as described in the bible. Yes, Osama Bin Laden is guilty of past crimes, and is a prime suspect now. The very bad aspect of a Suicide Cult is that there are no survivors, no one to punish, no one to tell of their motivations.
