they gotta be willing to take the gaff. I am not recommending a lynch mob for these individuals but I (and approximately 80% of America) find the comments disagreeable and I wish them less than good fortune. They would very likely wish the same for me if they knew me.

I assume you would agree that it is okay to be offended and to say so. In fact, I guess that's what you did, so it must be okay.
