Very well said, Mary Anne.

Attacking others for their beliefs is a form of hatred and racism. It IS liberty that enjoins us all, and it should be the common ground that advances us all.
As I found with some of my posts last week, any discussion other than blind justice and retribution somehow made me un-American.

As President John F. Kennedy once said (obviously looking ahead in time....):
"Mankind must put an end to war, or war will put
an end to mankind... War will exist until that
distant day when the conscientious objector enjoys
the same reputation and prestige that the warrior
does today."
