I believe this will be a key strategy. We may establish a staging base in the northeast. Raids could be conducting from there and we would love it if the Tailiban decides to get out of character and attempt an offensive on a well defended position.
No doubt our friends would likely turn on us the minute we leave. Simple, don't leave. Stay (forever if neccessary) and exert firm background control as we did in S. Vietnam. This is all predicated on our being a force for good. If we ignore the needs of the people in favor of corrupt leaders all bets are off.
