If I were faced with certain death from fire or smoke, I might choose to jump (I hope I would) and enjoy my first and likely only weightless experience.

It would not be suicide in my opinion. It would be the best of poor options. I have heard documented stories of people falling from thousands of feet and miraculously surviving. I have hever heard of anyone walking out of an incinerated building.

Regarding the terrorist, you are correct, there are many out there willing to die for thie cause. We also have many willing to do the same perhaps by planned suicide missions at some point in time.

If you destroy the leaders, theirs or ours, the number of rank and file people willing to make the supreme sacrifice drops dramatically.
