bin Ladin is probaly not important in the equation except as a symbol. Terrorism would go on without him. I believe our mission is to eliminate the outlaw organizations and the regimes that give them aid and comfort.

I saw an interview last night with a Afhgan extremist. He was asked if he felt it was wrong to accept aid from Pakistan since Pakistan does not properly follow the laws of the Koran. He said that aid is accepted from anywhere including drug money as long as the drugs are not sold to Muslims. When asked what they will do if the infidels are destroyed and driven out of the country, he said they would then invade Pakistan and institute proper law. It follows that they would then go on to other countries to spread their brand of religion.

To find common ground we must first agree that there is a hill worth dying for. If a person believes there is no such hill, agreement is impossible.
