At the same time, our country WAS being infiltrated on countless fronts in labor, entertainment, government and education, by communists directly supported by Moscow.

Go figure.

And we'll all try to bear in mind that the fact that you are a blithering idiot, who just happens to be a proud member of this BBS, and will never imply that all members of this board are blithering idiots.

I think when you parse this out, it's an insult, but I'm not sure.
