My sister lived overseas for several years in a Muslim country. This matches some of what she observed. It is a minority aspect in many countries but in extreme fundamentalist societies such as Afghanistan, it is the norm. Basically, they breed a generation of emotionally void sociopaths and mysogonists with this behaviour.
This is the society that bin Laden and his ilk want FORCED on the West.
I for one am glad that the extreme Falwell branch of Christianity is far from in power.
