I still have some of my old Army field manuals

Two of them are Special Forces manuals. One is titled "Special Forces Incendiary Techniques." It could just as well be titled "How to Burn Down a Neighborhood With Stuff Found Under Your Kitchen Sink." All of the recipes use commonly found chemicals that are available in just about any kitchen or garage in the country. There are a lot of napalm recipes in there along with other useful formulas for stuff like thermite. Makes for interesting reading.

By far, the more interesting of the two could be titled "Special Forces Dirty Tricks." It's a manual for homemade and commercial booby traps. Let me tell you, there are some evil-minded people out there thinking up this stuff. If you weren't paranoid before reading it, you will be by the time you're finished. One of my favorites was putting about 1/2 ounce of C4 into someone's radio headphones. When it comes to plastic explosives next to your skull, a little dab will do you. That book is confirmation of the old saying, "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that they aren't out to get you."
