Why do they always have to verbalize things this way: Each humanitarian food packet costs about $4.00. Each Tomahawk cruise missile costs about $600,000.
I don't care how much each of those costs (although the Tomahawks are a bit pricey), both are desperately needed.
I have to admit that I was against the food deliveries in the beginning, but now that they are only being delivered to those that needed it the most. I'm glad and I think it's fitting that both the charity of the delivery of food and the strikes are being done at the same time. It's telling the world that the US is there to help, not to take over. Pakistan's leadership realizes this and so do most of the leadership and people of the surrounding Arab/Muslim countries.
