<I think one of the real problems with fundamentalist Islam (like certain sects of fundamentalist Christianity) is that they DO want to use holy scripture as a Constitution.

Get rid of the "want to" and you're half way right. For the Bible (never seen a Koran), add "according to the literal interpretation of parable writings from a dead language."
