Oh, yes. We've all seen just how efffective the UN has been
Someone please tell me, what has the UN done to ease suffering or solve problems around the world? It didn't end the starvation in Somalia. It didn't stop the bloodshed in the former Yugoslavia. It didn't end the massive bloodshed in Rwanda. It hasn't ended slavery in the Sudan. The UN did hold a bunch of conferences. That sure fixed the problems, didn't it? Oh, yes. They also voted the US off of the human rights commission. So, sure. We should just let the UN solve the terrorism problem, just as they've solved all the other problems, right? Sorry, wrong answer.
