When the Islamic call to hunt down and kill Satanic Verses author Salman Rushdie was aired (early 80s?), Cat Stevens (of Peace Train fame, mind you) -- at the tme a "born again" Muslim -- stated it would be right to kill the man.
My Peace Train came to a screaching halt that day.
