I think the Republicans have already shot every arrow in their quiver--at each other.
This election will be decided by events out of anyone's control, an unexpected economic collapse or a military flare-up overseas (one he loses or can't quickly win) will finish Obama off in a heartbeat. If the situation improves, or even remains more or less the way it is now, there's no way he can lose this election.
People have seen what the Tea Party mentality is willing to do to rise to power, and what they are capable of doing once they get it. And the long primary campaign has given the electorate a profound insight into the personalities and dynamics now dominating the GOP.
