Huston, we have a problem here.
CERTAIN things MUST be kept out of the press during "war".
I hear we are at "war", but what if our foreign policy continues unabated, unchecked, and uncensored......THEN what?
I can see keeping the whereabouts of our cabinet ministers secret, but what's this bit about the Afghani civilian casualities?
What's wrong with that?
It should help to appease our bloodlust.
On second thought, the black-out for the whereabouts of our cabinet leaders seems like another ridiculous ploy, simply because the Taliban can't find or bomb our ministers with any accuracy or reliability.
Unless of course, they use something a little faster than mules and a little sharper than binoculars.
No, I think this "media black-out" is to keep debate and passion down......ANY dissent by anyone now could be seen as "problematic".
And we'll go along with this for another month or two, but if the problem escalates and other countries get involved, and we can't read about the events to make an informed decision, THEN you will see problems arising in America and around the world big-time.
