In Nam I watched Puff make a run over a hillside once. Two passes and every single thing on that hillside was cut off about 2 inches high.
Three miniguns, or chainguns, depending on your view. (Some had four). 6000 Rounds per Minute per gun. When Puff spoke, something got leveled. One of the pilots and I spent some time in Bankok, he told me that after a pass the shell cases would be almost knee deep in the cargo hold.

The C-130 gunships carry 4 Mini's, One or two 20 MM, some carry other ordinance. They are all weather capable, and have extraordinary accuracy. The aim/fire systems are computer controlled.

I absolutly do not wish to be on the business end of that weapons platform.
