It's not unusual for leftists to vomit their entire agenda all over you at the drop of a hat, whether relevant or not. For another example, see Barbara Kingsolver's column at my post here.

With black leftist politicians, it's always about race. EVERYTHING is about race. From the time they get up in the morning until they go to bed at night, they are obsessed by their melanin level, and blame everything that has ever gone wrong on it.*

In our society, this is considered not only normal, but expected.

A white person this obsessed about race runs around with a white hood over his head. In our society this is considered not only abnormal, but a horrible crime.

In point of fact, both of these people are nuts.

*A black person who does not behave this way is a "Tom." A "house nigger." An "Oreo." If he is not a professional victim, he is not a real black person at all!
