The error on the part of the al Qaeda and Taliban is underestimating your opponent. In Afghanistan and Iraq, I have no doubts their tests showed this wimpy strain of anthrax to be extremely fatal. That's what happens when you don't allow modern medicine into your test area.
Similar to attacking a tank with a .22. Occasionally you might be able to pick off the TC or the driver, but once they know what you're up to, buttoning up the vehicle precludes further injury.
What we have witnessed here is a coordinated, 2 pronged attack on the U.S. mainland. Others may be in the works, but our internal security systems have been heightened to the max. The best ploy would be for our antagonists to just lay low for a few months, possibly a year, before attempting a third attack. And when it comes, and I'm sure it will, we need to track it to its local source and fry the bastards.
