Burning a flag of the United States of America is perfectly legal -- provided it’s your own flag -- but I think it’s still a crime to use loonies to beat our fires (might even involve PETA).

It angers people, I know, but I was very impressed with the read in that no violence broke out as a response to this pointless posturing and desecration (which was clearly meant to incite anger and possible violence). The reaction by the students shouted volumes bout tolerance, as well as the heightened spiritual level these kids who hope to build a better world held over those who feel the need to disrupt and destroy.

If you ignore the cranks, they probably won’t go away -- but you get the sarifaction of really pissing them off,
