Actually, I understand that the Taliban has outlawed cultivation of Poppies in the last year and most of the drug trade is going on outside their sphere of influence.

Al Queiza is funded from many sources including opium from Afghanistan and other countries, donations from Arabs all over the world and the legitimate businesses and investments of OBL and Co.

The Taliban is guilty by association and they have sworn to support Al Queiza. However, the Taliban provides no funding, they are ignorant zealots who instead receive payments from OBL's mob for services rendered.

Drying up the terrorist funding is important but it is an international effort.
