The truth is that the US air strikes are saving lives, not costing them
If one's counting the rate of civilian deaths per month, it's pretty darn hard to top the Taliban's record while they were in power.
Wait and see how much better off the Afghan civilians will be 1 year after the Taliban is wiped out.
This will NOT be another Iraq. This time we will go all the way, and the people living there will, evetually, be far better off for it.
