You know how I feel about religion but the posting of those commandments seems innocuous to me. Most of them are just expressions of natural law and the ones referring to god, graven images, etc. fit fairly well into any religion including Muslim. And, as an agnostic, they certainly don't engender any fear from me.

I can appreciate your concern that it is a step in the wrong direction. I often have a problem with deciding where to take a stand. To me, things like confederate flags, team mascots etc. are similar issues and often it seems that the intelligentsia are attempting to inject their opinion on behalf of the people that have a right to be offended or not.

Most things aren't worth doing if a large number of people are hurt or offended but some things are.
