This seems to be the answer from too many Muslims when questioned about the peaceful nature of their religion. They seem to be somewhat confused themselves. IMO they are undergoing the Christian equivalent of the Inquisition when the Church was controlled by radicals and the majority were afraid to question them.

One thing is for sure, I am glad we outnumber them by several billion. If the situation were reversed it would not be pretty.

All of the reading in the world about our past misdeeds does not change the fact that at this point in time we are a secular culture and they are a religious culture.

I do not trust anyone that is not trying to maximize their experience in this life.
