While I seriously doubt that we will resort to physical torture, whatever interogation tactics we use will be intended to produce information for interdiction.
I am amused by the lawyers planning their defense of the culprits. We'll see how that works out with a judge and jury in our new world. They should wake up and smell the coffee.
