What exactly "blew up on them"?
Nowhere in the ABC story is it implied Zimmerman was Anglo or Republican. And it is possible to be Hispanic and white at the same time. I am.
In fact, his ethnicity is never mentioned, he could have been Jewish as far as the reader is concerned. And there is nothing in the ABC story which has not held up.
The picture may be misleading as to Traynor's age, there appear to be no flattering recent pictures of Traynor, but that's not ABC's fault. I pointed out the obvious disparity between the age of the kid in the pictures and the one who was shot myself when I first commented on the story, and ABC did report his age correctly.
You're starting to glimpse shadowy movements of evil wraiths in your peripheral vision, TB. Get a grip, there's already enough paranoia on your side.
