Overall approval ratings are muddied by the gun law, but some specifics are called out.
The governor's approval rating has dropped to 53 - 32. This is still three points higher than Obama's.
Note that women disapprove of the abortion law by 49 to 44. Five points. Oddly, the disapproval rate for men is 56 to 38. Go figure.
Of course, the original controversy wasn't about a Virginia law. It was about forcing religious institutions across the United States to provide birth control.
