It's far from over
First of all, the US isn't finished in Afghanistan until ObL and his henchmen have been sent into Allah's embrace. Snuffing the Taliban does us no good if Osama, et al sneak off to the Sudan or Mauritania. Also we don't want this thing to end too quickly. We need to encourage every Islamic fanatic in the world to go to Afghanistan and defend the faith. Once they're all assembled, we can then put an end to this thing once and for all.
