Every campfire they light this winter, every cave witha heat plume, every hike they make across the cold barren mountain passes, will leave them exposed to completely harsh retribution and attack from our fully night combat enabled forces.
You can hide a lot of things in mountains, but you can't camoflage IR signatures very easily.
