I have never see the alleged media experts proven SO wrong so quickly (we're gonna suffer mass casualties; the Taliban fight too fiercely for us to defeat them...) and then shamelessly reverse field (the Norther Alliance is KILLING the Taliban - stop them!, etc.).

Why anyone bothers to read Maureen Dowd or listen to Arthur Schlessinger (proven to be a Kennedy era whitewasher) is a mystery.
