I don't disagree with his sentiments
The federal government needs to enforce the borders. Instead Washington tries to get employers, schools, local governments, etc... to do their dirty work for them.
The feds need to focus on federal issues. The States need to focus on state issues. And the same on down the line.
The federal government shouldn't micro manage NYC's housing policies through immigration law any more than they should micro-manage education in Louisville through the school lunch program.
