<On another note, I have heard similar stories about our own US Military hospitals and VA hospitals.
My wife and I had been married 5 months, when a retired sergeant major decided to fold my old Datsun with his old Pontiac. It was the good Dr. Moscerra who saved my life at Gorgas Army Hospital in Panama, the day after Thanksgiving, 1978. He informed me he had 'lost' me several times on the table. I still appreciate all his efforts. I kept my life, and he help my spleen. The 'accident' (the idiot was drunk out of his mind and on his way to Fort Clayton to 'check his mail') occurred across the tracks from the Corozel Fire Station (something else I appreciate), and the medics were on me within 5 minutes.
I've been in various medical facilities operated by the various US militaries and have no complaints about any of them.
