The virulent and unreasoning hatred of George Bush* by the Left is going to continue to fester in them until they start saying and doing even stupider things than they have been so far. There will be constant attempts to cut Bush off at the knees with crap like this. If you think this is bad, wait until elections get a bit closer.
*The psychological motivation is very similar to the motivation that generates the hatred of the U.S. around the world: what Ayn Rand called "hatred of the good for being the good." But that's a whole discussion by itself.
